hello weekend, I've been waiting for you

Hooray! I am finally off work; now my weekend can begin! First on the agenda: eat. Then study. If all goes well, I might clean my house. But I am hoping to get some rest so I can be ready for another week and more overtime.

So as I get started on the list, I will leave you with this:

One year.
15,500 miles of memories.
This is how I remember that God answers prayers and can give us EXACTLY what we are looking for.
Just because He can.

Maybe I will celebrate our anniversary by cleaning it! :)

Happy weekend everyone!!

Your breath is like rain
Your Word, It sustains me.
I've come to this place
With intentions of finding You.

Your Truth is a lamp
Your Wisdom, my light
I've come to this place
With intentions of finding You, finding You.

I would run for a thousand years
If I knew every step would be getting me closer.
I would swim to the ocean floor
For my Lord is the Treasure
My Lord is the Treasure.

a glimpse

My life lately has been full of working late, trying to fix technical difficulties, dealing with co-worker troubles, wading through piles of papers and bills, and experiencing the general craziness at the office right now because of booming business.

Then, once I get home, I pull out the books and study. I sometimes find time to do a thing or two at home before crashing into bed. Oh and I try to find time in there to eat also, since that's kinda important. My poor house hasn't been cleaned in...um...weeks and my car is the same way (although I did wash it this weekend). I am working on my 4th CLEP exam which is worth another 6 credits. That would put me at 24. However, this exam is Humanities (fine arts and culture studies are not my forte) and I think it's going to take me longer than I wanted it to based on how it's been going so far (read: I am pulling out my hair and trying to find the panic button so I can TURN IT OFF!!)

Ahem.

The last two weeks have been extremely difficult because of work, but I am hoping *praying* that this week will be better. I still have to work 9 and 10 hour days, but maybe the computer software will behave itself and I will be able to get a lot done...maybe even catch up on some things. *activating optimistic drive*

Oh yes, I almost forgot to tell you that I went to a rodeo Saturday night. :) :)  We waited until 9:30 to go so it was only 109 degrees. And by the time we left at 10:30, it had cooled off to 99 degrees!!! Craziness! Where is my jacket when I need it?? Ahh, good times. I know you are so jealous so I won't even mention that the temps have been staying around 113. No, I won't because that may send you into coveting.

Yes, I am tired if you are wondering.

I will stop writing now.
